Man, it has been a crazy summer. I’m not sure where it all went. My next event and my publish date for The Hunt both just snuck up on me! Teffifa and company are free in the wild!
The Hunt was released yesterday (September 5th) in ebook, and will be out on the 15th in paperback. You can pre-order the paperback on Amazon, OR you can come to the Cedar Rapids Public Library tomorrow or Sunday and pick up an early copy from me in person! As an extra bonus, I’ll sign it and you get a bookmark with Malkarai’s handsome mug on it.
I hope to have some more bookmarks soon with the book covers on them, but formatting them was taking more time than I had to devote to them, so they aren’t ready quite yet.
The event I’m attending this weekend is I.O.W.A. (Imagine Other Worlds with Authors), and there’s a fantastic line-up of authors attending. We’re going to have readings all weekend, plus something called Author Speed Dating, where you get to meet and find out about several authors’ work and then ask questions one on one in a quick setting! There are also panels going on most of the weekend. I’ll be in the Author Speed Dating, and I’ll also be reading the first part of The Hunt in a solo reading on Sunday, at 3:50 p.m.
No costumes this time, just weird little ol’ me. 🙂
The next even after that will be LitCon at the Cedar Falls Public Library, on October 12th! We love LitCon, it’s a great little convention full of awesome people. Check it out if you haven’t yet!
Oh yeah, I’m still working on The Shield, and The Streets is chugging along slowly but surely. I love the new direction it’s taking. ^_^
